In partnership with IRIS Greeneville and Holston Homes for Children, we have been blessed to foster and adopt teenagers who have been taken into DCS custody. The teenagers we call family and choose to do life with are specifically diagnosed/identified as what is known as Level 2 or Level 3 traumatized children. When a child is diagnosed as Level 2/Level 3, that means that DCS has determined they are not capable of living in society due to certain behaviors that could make themselves or others unsafe. Our homes are specifically licensed to take in these types of teenagers, and our mission is to give them the fullest experience of life and of family as possible.
