International Abba Ministries has homes and land located throughout Charleston & North Charleston, SC. The homes serve to host a healthy sober living community centered around Jesus.
The first two (2) weeks of all provided programs starts with a “blackout” period, where the resident would not be allowed to contact anyone outside of the house. This is a healthy time to detox physically, emotionally and mentally.
During the first 30 days of the program, the residents will not be allowed to have visitors. Between 30-60 days into their stay, the resident will be able to apply for passes so that visitors may come.
During a man’s stay with us, all residents are required to attend our in-house meetings and/or out-of-house activities every morning and night. Our organization provides all residents a solid foundation based on a Christ-centered 12-step program. (The 12 steps of AA were originally created from teachings within the Bible; therefore, we simply walk the residents “back through the basics”).
PROGRAM & PRICING
We currently offer a six-month program, which can be extended up to one year. We often collect donations we consider “Love Offerings” that take the place of an “Admissions Fee”, which helps us further our mission of raising up men in recovery who will do the work of the Gospel and carry the Presence of Jesus into the world. Once the resident is working, he will be required to pay weekly program fees during his stay.
